Ara Malikian es un violinista español de origen libanés y ascendencia armenia. Pronto se reconoció su talento, a pesar de las circunstancias que tuvo que vivir durante la guerra civil libanesa. La gira 15, una de las más grandes de los últimos años, fue un éxito de público y crítica con más de 175.000 espectadores y más de 150 conciertos. Después de su última gira Petit Garage, transformación de su gira anterior Royal Garage en un espectáculo de piano y violín, con que recorrió el mundo, vuelve ahora con The Ara Malikian World Tour.
Malikian defines his new tour as "the result of watching my son grow up, of my growth at his side, of all these sounds and melodies that try to give shape to what I have felt and been inspired by him and of life through him. An encounter with the child I could not be and would have dreamed of being. It is a tribute to these beings who are as free as a bird".
The artist returns to the Portalblau Festival (15.08), and this time he will perform on the stage of the Roman Forum of Empúires , with a new show after touring the world.
